The submission of abstracts for KISMIF Conference 2016 “DIY Cultures, Spaces and Places” and Summer School “Mappin’ Your Own Underground!” is open.
KISMIF Conference: Abstracts must be written in English (the presentation in the Conference can be made in English or Portuguese), have approximately 250 words, and include 3-5 keywords. Abstracts should be sent along with a brief biographical note of the authors (100 words). We ask the participants to submit abstracts and contact details by 22nd March 2016, in the virtual conference platform: www.kismifconference.com.
KISMIF Summer School: To participate in Summer School, all the interested people must access the virtual platform (available here www.kismifconference.com) and, on the abstracts area, fill the form with the following information: (a) choice of ‘Thesis Breakout Group’ in which you would like to participate; (b) a short description (written in English and with a maximum of 1000 words) of the questions you would like to see debated in the ‘Thesis Breakout Group’, briefly describing your research project and the questions it raises; (c) a short CV (with a maximum of 500 words). Then, all the completed forms must be submitted to a review process which will evaluate each proposal.
All the persons who saw their proposals positively evaluated must then pay the fees until 19th April 2016. Only this way, participants will assure their participation in KISMIF Conference and/or KISMIF Summer School.
