This dossier is the result of an international partnership woven and woven into the body and soul of its organizers rooted in the intersections between sociology and anthropology. Its theme is anchored in the urban peripheries and their multiple territorial practices, considering time, space, social networks and their territories of life, in the urban context of large contemporary cities. It cannot be repeated enough that this international academic dialogue is an important bridge for the approximation of epistemological perspectives produced in different contexts on the peripheries and their interface with the public policies of each country/region and the ways of linking the State and social organizations.
