(a) The conference fee includes publication of abstract in the Book of Abstracts; publication of paper in the Proceedings of Conference; KISMIF Coffee breaks; KISMIF Merchandising (bag with pencil/ pen, notepads, badge, pin); KISMIF Programme; and excludes accommodation, lunches and dinners.

(b) Paper presenters must register for the conference by 22 April 2018 so that we can finalise the conference programme. For this reason, on-site registration is not available for paper presenters.

(c) The conference fee includes KISMIF Coffee breaks; KISMIF Merchandising (bag with pencil/ pen, notepads, badge, pin); KISMIF Programme; and excludes accommodation, lunches and dinners.

(d) “One day” registration is available for non-presenting delegates only and is not available for conference speakers.

*If you are student, you must send us documentation proving your condition of student (kismif.conference@gmail.com).

 

Payment & Cancellation Policy – Conference/ Summer School fees:

  • Full settlement of the registration fee is required in order for the registration to be confirmed.
  • Invoice/ Receipts will be given by our University. Name: Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto; VAT/Tax Number: 501413197; Address: Via Panorâmica, s/n, 4150-564 – Porto, PORTUGAL.
  • Cancellations should be made in writing to the Conference Secretariat. Please send an email to kismif.conference@gmail.com, requesting the cancellation of your registration.
  • For any cancellation submitted before 07 May 2018, a full refund will apply minus a processing fee of 30€.
  • For any cancellation submitted from 08 May 2018 until 06 June 2018, a 50% refund is applicable.
  • After 06 June 2018 no refund will be possible.
  • All refunds will be made after the Conference.

 

KISMIF Lunches:

Everyone who has participated in previous editions of KISMIF Conference certainly has not forgotten KISMIF Lunches. In its 4th edition, KISMIF Conference will provide the KISMIF Lunch Bags – more practical, but characterized by their usual quality. The menus have vegan options and include multiple sandwiches, desserts and drinks.

KISMIF Lunches will be held on 3, 5, 6 and 7 July 2018[1] at Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto.

Please check the menus here and if you are interested in KISMIF Lunch Bags, make your registration and payment accessing this page. To ensure your participation in KISMIF Lunches, you should book and pay for them until 15 May 2018 (check below the prices and deadlines).

Notes:
[1] For reasons inherent to the organization of Casa da Música, KISMIF Conference will not be able to make its KISMIF Lunch Bags available on 4 July 2018. However, Casa da Música has a bar/ restaurant where all participants can lunch (the purchase of lunches can be made on 4 July 2018, at Casa da Música).

KISMIF Dinner:

On 5 July 2018, all participants of KISMIF Conference 2018 can gather at the official Dinner of KISMIF Conference. The KISMIF Conference Dinner will be held at Clube Universitário do Porto. The menu will have vegan options and will include starters, one main course, dessert, drinks and coffee. The dinner will be accompanied by a DJ Set.
