Ana Rocha

Ana Rocha (Porto, 1982) is a producer, curator, choreographer, performer, playwright and sometimes writer. She studied art history, contemporary art and visual arts in different Portuguese institutions. She has collaborated in the production of several festivals, such as the Factory Festival, Alkantara Festival and Serralves in Festa – Museum of Contemporary Art. She was part of the following structures: SoopaOOPSA (non-profit cultural association for experimental music), Arco da Velha (non-profit cultural association), and is part of the Cão Danado & Cia (non-profit cultural association for theater contemporary). She co-directed MEZZANINE (non-profit cultural association for performing arts – 2009 to 2017). The creation ‘Stabat Mater Furiosa‘ (Jean-Pierre Simeon) debuted in February 2017, by Cão Danado & Cia, in co-production with the Municipal Theatre of Porto.
