Nina Hervé was born and raised in Jersey, Channel Islands where she established herself as a part of the island’s cultural fabric, working across music, art and eventually managing the popular cross-arts festival, Branchage, in its final year. By then, she had left for London, and was working for the legendary Rough Trade Shops, running their festival retail presence and hugely successful partnerships. In 2017, Nina left the shop to start Rough Trade Books, a literary publishing company run in the same spirit as the original record label which now has over 50 publications under their belt.
