The new podcast from Casa Comum – Sons Pe(R)didos e Achados – brings Paula Guerra in conversation with Portuguese musicians about their journey to the fragile balance in cultural and creative work in these times of uncertainty and reinvention of Portuguese pop-rock. The starting point was the generalised experience of alienation, absence of expectations, great uncertainty and permeability to risks, namely for those who make, or used to make, music as an experience in the flesh. Sounds Caught and Found aims to go further than divulging the creative work of musicians. It will bring us, in the first person, stories of how this pandemic context has been influencing pop-rock in Portugal.
Sons Pe(R)didos e Achados will have a monthly basis and will start with Legendary Tigermam. But there are already names in the pipeline such as Victor Torpedo (ex-Tédio Boys and currently The Parkinsons), Tó Trips (Dead Combo), Vítor Rua (ex-GNR and Telectu) and Fado Bicha. It is the result of a partnership between Casa Comum, the Instituto de Sociologia da Universidade do Porto (IS-UP) and the Centro de Investigação Transdisciplinar “Cultura, Espaço e Memória” (CITCEM). The podcast has the collaboration of Ana Oliveira, António Carvalho and Susana Serro.

The soundtrack is by Paulo Gusmão.
