Colective Pimbaú

 

Paulo Cunha Martins (Porto, 1980), is an independent researcher, and senior media producer specializing in video and photography content creation since 2006. Currently based in Berlin, he is responsible for the digital archive of Portuguese popular music, a collector, DJ, and dance promoter with the “Rádio Popular” project (since 2006), first in face-to-face parties between friends, related to the community of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto (Readymade in China and Festival More or Less, FBAUP, 2006), and later, in the exchange and sharing of information through digital social networks (facebook, youtube, mixcloud and instagram), especially about the work of José Pinhal, communicating with a broad national and international community that shares the same interests, tastes, and lifestyle. He graduated from the Polytechnic Institute of Porto and has a master’s degree in photography and documentary film.

Bernardo Machado (Porto, 1996), is an independent researcher, translator, subtitler for film and theater. Co-founder of the Portuguese popular music archive Pimbaú.

Francisca Oliveira (Santo Tirso, 2003), is an independent researcher, a third-year student of the Communication Design degree at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, and a member of the Pimbaú collective.
