Paula Abreu

 

Professor of Sociology at the School of Economics, University of Coimbra. Co-coordinator of the doctoral programm on Discourses: Culture, History and Society – Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra. Vice-Director of Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra. Paula has beeen part of the research teams of the projects UNCHARTED – Understanding, Capturing and Fostering the Societal Value of Culture (2020-2024) and IN SITU – Place-based innovation of cultural and creative industries in non-urban areas (2022-2026). Her main research interests are: cultural production and consumption, markets of the cultural goods and services, cultural values and cultural valuation, cultural institutions and cutural policies. Paula has been part of the research team from the outset, as well as the scientific and executive committees of the KISMIF Project and Conference.
