Victoria Blessing Butete

 

 

Victoria Blessing Butete is an Independent Researcher from Zimbabwe. Victoria is a Aspiring PhD candidate in DIY Culture and Music Entrepreneurship. Victoria was a Former Lecturer (2011-2022) – Department of Music and Musicology at Midlands State University, Gweru, Zimbabwe. Victoria has Master of Music degree, Rhodes University, South Africa (2012). She is also Bachelor of Arts Special Honours in Communication and Media Studies Zimbabwe Open University, Zimbabwe (ZOU – 2013) and Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Music & Musicology, Midlands State University, Zimbabwe. Her research interests are: Creative economy/creative industries, music scenes, social capital, popular music, DIY music culture, and cultural policy.
