Inflammable Materials: Cultures of Resistance, Alternative Media and Fanzines (1982-2021) is the second exhibition proposed for the Graphic Cabinet of the City Museum, located in the Almeida Garrett Municipal Library.
In Inflammable Materials, the curators Paula Guerra and Pedro Quintela and the Programming Nucleus of the City Museum selected a set of fanzines, replicas of fanzines, music, posters, flyers and videographic materials produced by independent and artistic experimentation movements of the city.
The Short Course with the same title, which took place in May, prepared fertile theoretical ground for this theme, and a workshop for the production of fanzines is still planned for 24 July.
